Iran: Reyhaneh Jabbari's memory lives on forever through her statue
Mr. Reza Olia, sculptor and member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran has done a number of famous art work and has set up an exhibition in Paris.
Miss Reyhaneh Jabbari, 19, young art student was lured in to an office under the pretext of working on a new decoration work for that office. But she soon finds out that the man who has asked her assistance, who was an intelligence ministry officer, intends to rape her.
Reyhaneh Jabbari was hanged about 6 years after this incident for killing that man in a self-defense and in order to preserve her dignity.
Her name and this evil execution captured the world attention and numerous human rights organizations including Amnesty International and UN's human rights rapporteur condemned this act of murdering an innocent young girl.
